What are SEIS & EIS?
The Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme and the Enterprise Investment Scheme are UK government-backed tax incentive schemes intended to encourage private investment in smaller companies. Each scheme offers investors carefully structured tax advantages to reduce the financial risk of backing early and growth-stage businesses.

SEIS is aimed at companies seeking initial seed capital, whereas EIS supports later-stage expansion.
